On July 19, 2025, Hala’s Design officially unveiled its highly anticipated flagship showroom at Tropical Mall, marking a major milestone in the brand’s evolution and in Ethiopia’s growing fashion scene.

Fashion enthusiasts, loyal clients, media personalities, and industry tastemakers gathered to witness the next chapter in founder Tigist’s remarkable journey. With its sleek interior and thoughtfully curated collection, the showroom reflects the brand’s core ethos—custom craftsmanship rooted in heritage, interpreted through a modern lens.
Launched in 2019 and inspired by Tigist’s upbringing in a home full of expressive individuals, Hala’s Design has grown from humble beginnings to a respected name in couture. From bridal gowns and red carpet looks to elegant cocktail wear, the brand is known for its flawless tailoring and powerful silhouettes. The 2023 addition of a luxury leather bag line, designed and handmade in Ethiopia, further cemented Hala’s Design as a local brand with global potential.
During the event, Tigist spoke passionately about building her dream during the pandemic and the resilience it required. “This showroom is more than a space—it’s proof that Ethiopian luxury fashion belongs on the world stage,” she said.
