Dear Friends

Welcome to the May issue of What’s Out Addis.

Our feature article is about artist Behailu Bezabih a well known and much appreciated artist who recently passed away leaving behind a legacy of artwork.

We profile entrepreneur Abel Hailegiorgis and his award winning Ethiopian social enterprise Bamboo labs and we celebrate 80 years of Ethiopian Airlines carrying the spirit of Ethiopia across the skies!

Another entrepreneur is Kidus Tesera an Ethiopian origin British cyclist who built a wooden bike and raised money for charity riding across the UK and he has now written a book for children titled The Boy who Rode the Wooden Bike.
Last but not least, read all about EARS (Ethiopian animal rescue) rescuing street or abandoned dogs and caring for them until they are re-homed and how to help. As usual we provide you with a variety of articles along with our highlights of what is going on around town.

See you in June.
