Chocolate Lava Cake

Minimal ingredients

Ingredients:

100 g dark chocolate

½ cup butter

2 eggs

¼ cup sugar

2 tbsp all-purpose flour

1 tsp vanilla essence

Pinch of salt

Cocoa powder or powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 200°C. Grease two small ramekins or oven-safe cups.

Melt the chocolate and butter together (double boiler or microwave). Stir until smooth.

In a bowl, whisk eggs and sugar until slightly fluffy.

Add melted chocolate, vanilla, and salt. Mix well.

Gently fold in the flour.

Pour batter into ramekins.

Bake for 8–10 minutes. The edges should be set, but the center is soft.

Let rest for 1 minute, turn onto a plate, and dust with cocoa or powdered sugar.

Serve with:

Fresh strawberries

Vanilla ice cream

A drizzle of honey or chocolate sauce
