We highlight a beautiful memorial monument and park which was inaugurated to commemorate the tragic crash and loss of lives of flight ET 302 in 2019. The memorial park includes two sacred sites: the Crash Site and the Burial Ground. After an international design competition was launched, Alebel Desta Consulting Architects and Engineers were selected for their concept focused on absence, revelation,
and healing.
Biking is becoming more and more popular in Addis and we write about Ethio Cycling Adventures which promotes recreational cycling in Addis.
There’s a new name on the jewelry scene. Zbello by Arsiema launched in April and is already turning heads for its blend of Ethiopian gold tradition and modern design. Founded by Naomi Zbello, the brand is born out of Arsiema, a well-known family gold business with four generations of history in Ethiopia.
