A Lineage of Gold, Reimagined for the Modern World

There’s a new name on the jewelry scene — but the story behind it goes back generations.

Zbello by Arsiema launched in April and is already turning heads for its blend of Ethiopian gold tradition and modern design. Founded by Naomi Zbello, daughter of Weyzero Arsiema Gebreselassie and Ato Yemane Zbello, the brand is born out of Arsiema, a well-known family gold business with four generations of history in Ethiopia.

After earning a double major in Finance and Economics from Drexel University and an MBA from Thomas Jefferson University, Naomi returned to her roots with a fresh perspective — one that honors the past while expanding it for a global audience.

Zbello’s debut collection features signature takes on traditional Ethiopian silhouettes alongside newly designed pieces that feel refined, wearable, and distinctly now. Every piece carries the spirit of something handed down — yet made to fit effortlessly into today’s wardrobe.

To mark the launch, Zbello dropped a brand film that explores gold as a generational keepsake — passed down through time, reinterpreted by each era. The film, along with a teaser campaign on social media, helped set the tone for a brand that’s both personal and proudly forward-thinking.

What’s next? A growing range of collections, custom-made pieces available through the website, and plans to bring Ethiopian-inspired gold design to jewelry lovers around the world.
