Actuel is co-founded by a daughter-mother team Hamere Demissie and Sablewongel Yeshewalul. Hamere returned to Addis Ababa after over 25 years abroad in the USA, France, and Bangladesh. She is an experienced designer with a passion for contemporary art forms particularly contemporary furniture and interior design, fashion and visual arts. Sablewongel Yeshewalul is a veteran pioneer of the Ethiopian Art and Décor market and is known for her knack in creating beautiful homes and being a connector of people and ideas.
