- Insure the car
Based on the Ethiopian transport law you must fulfill all the documents & engine number so you can get your insurance card in order to drive confidently
Register the car and transfer the title
After paying all the necessary fees transfer your car title and get licensed. While you are licensed you will have a plate number and license paper for ownership that allows you to change, sell borrow your car
- Familiarize yourself with the owner’s manual
Driving only is not enough as an owner you have to know some basic technical information about your car from the manual that may help you during maintenance, discussion etc
- Take care of routine maintenance
As usual your car needs periodic maintenance that gives long life and provides safety for your car. So this maintenance must be done within a specific interval. Check your manual and consult your technician for next step and necessary repairs.
