Kenyan Cultural Month Kicks Off
On 2 May 2025, the resort launched Kenyan Thematic Takeover, a two-month celebration of Kenya’s vibrant culture, cuisine, music, and heritage. The launch event was celebrated with music, specialty Kenyan teas and cuisine, and vibrant displays. Key speakers included Kenyan Ambassador to Ethiopia, H.E. George M. Orina, Kuriftu founder Ato Tadiyos Belete, and H.E. Biniyam Tsegaye from Shaggar City Tourism. All emphasized cultural exchange and African unity through tourism. As Ambassador Orina noted, “We must promote our cultures and encourage young Africans to embrace the rich heritage of this continent.”
The event also welcomed diplomats from East Africa, France, and Canada, reflecting growing global interest in African culture.
