The 17th Ethiopian International Film Festival (EARTHOPIAN), in partnership with TeleBirr, will
be organized from 1-5 May 2023, at Ethiopian Officers Club and Russian Cultural Institute. The
festival will be celebrated with various events including screenings, a three days-long film
Market Expo and closing/award ceremony, in the presence of a great number of targeted
potential local and foreign participants.
The major parts of the festival events such as the Expo and grand award ceremony will be held
at Officers Club and attended only by entrance tickets. The grand Award ceremony that will be
held on the 5th of May 2023 at Officers Club is a major part of the festival, modeled on the
Academy Awards. The price of the entrance ticket, for this ceremony, including dinner, is 5000
(five thousand Birr). Telebirr is the one managing and selling the tickets digitally.
