In a quiet side street in Kazanchis, stands an old villa in a peaceful garden, exuding charm and calm. Welcome to Mamma Mia, an authentic Italian restaurant specializing in traditional, homemade dishes with a choice of ten different kinds of freshly made pasta.
Since it opened in 2015, Mamma Mia has become popular for relaxed lunches and intimate dinners as well as a venue for special occasions such as birthdays and weddings.

The restaurant is personally run by the owners: Bruno, who enthusiastically welcomes diners with detailed explanations of the menu choices and his wife, Jitu Daba Erensa, the talented chef who trained in Italy and had her own Italian restaurant in Italy before moving back to Ethiopia in 2014.
During the recent Dashen Culture Club Pasta Festa held in Addis Ababa in November at the Millennium compound, Chef Jitu entered the Cooking Competition, which she won with her signature dish of Artichoke Ravioli in Butter, Parmesan Cheese and Thyme.
