Crispy on the outside, soft inside, and loaded with cheesy chicken stuffing — perfect bakery-style garlic bread at home!
INGREDIENTS:
For Dough:
All purpose flour – 1 cup
Sugar – 2 tsp
Yeast – 1 tsp
Salt – to taste
Lukewarm milk – as needed
Oil – 1 tbsp
For Chicken Filling:
Oil – 2 tbsp
Onion – 1 tbsp (chopped)
Green chili – 2 pieces (chopped)
Chicken keema – 1/2 cup
Salt – to taste
Garlic – 1/2 tsp
Ginger – 1/2 tsp
Pepper powder – to taste
Oregano – to taste
Spring onion – to taste
All purpose flour – 2 tsp
Milk – 1/4 cup
For Garlic Butter:
Butter – 2 tbsp (softened)
Coriander – 1 tbsp (chopped)
Garlic – 1 tsp (chopped)
Chili flakes – to taste
Salt – a pinch
Oregano – a pinch
For Assembly:
Mozzarella cheese – as needed
INSTRUCTIONS:
Prepare Dough:
In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
Add lukewarm milk gradually and oil, then knead for 5 minutes until soft and smooth.
Rub oil on the dough, cover, and rest for 30 minutes.
Prepare Chicken Filling:
Heat oil in a pan, add onion and green chili, cook for 2 minutes.
Add chicken keema, salt, garlic, ginger, pepper, oregano, and spring onion. Cook for 2 minutes.
Add flour, mix well, then pour in milk.
Cook for 5 minutes until thick and creamy. Keep aside.
Prepare Garlic Butter:
Mix butter, coriander, chopped garlic, chili flakes, salt, and oregano until well combined.
Assemble Garlic Bread:
Roll the rested dough into a rectangle.
Spread garlic butter, add chicken stuffing, and sprinkle mozzarella cheese.
Seal the edges properly.
Spread garlic butter on top and make cuts.
Bake:
Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C for 10–15 minutes or until golden and crispy.
Slice and serve hot.
