Over the weekend of 25-26 April 2026, 17 members of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs gathered at Kuriftu Resorts & Spa in Bishoftu for a beautifully curated celebration of World Chaîne Day.
Arriving on Saturday afternoon to sweeping lake views, the evening began at the private residence of Tadiwos Belete, CEO of Kuriftu Resorts & Boston Partners PLC and his son Yonail Belete, Operations Director, Boston Partners PLC and owners of Kuriftu Resorts & Spa, with elegant canapés, most memorably teff samosas and crisp chickpea bites with an olive dip.
Dinner unfolded lakeside to a soundtrack of crickets and rustling leaves: a refined four-course journey from a vibrant salad to a delicate spinach velouté and slow-braised beef in banana leaves, ending with delicious banoffee pie. The night carried on with music and dancing, closing with a warm, convivial brunch the following morning.
This event truly embodied the spirit of the Chaîne. Special thanks to our hosts, the Belete family for their impeccable leadership and all participating members of the Bailliage D’ Ethiopie for their attendance.
