We Are Moving Faster Than We Can Feel
Sometimes it feels like the world is moving faster than people can emotionally process. Everybody seems to be chasing something: more money, more stability, more recognition, more success. And somewhere inside all that movement, many people have quietly stopped noticing the present.
Coffee gets cold while emails are answered. Friends meet but spend half the time on their phones. Family dinners become shorter. Even rest feels guilty. We are constantly preparing for tomorrow while becoming absent from today.
What makes it stranger is that, from the outside, everything can still look successful. Careers grow. Businesses expand. Goals are achieved. Photos are posted. Yet internally, many people seem exhausted in ways they struggle to explain. Because human beings were never designed only to produce and accumulate. They were also designed to connect, laugh, reflect, sit together, believe in something, and fully experience moments.
And when life suddenly becomes difficult, people rarely survive emotionally because of what they own. They survive because of friendships, family, faith, conversations, and memories. Maybe the most valuable parts of life were never waiting somewhere ahead of us.
Maybe they were always happening quietly around us now.
