Addis Fikir (translated as Addis Love) is an Ethiopian limited television series that captures the emotional and social realities of life in modern Addis Ababa. Produced by WAG Entertainment and created by Besufekade Mulu, the seven-episode anthology explores themes of identity, love, ambition, grief, family, and change through interconnected stories set in Ethiopia’s rapidly evolving capital city.
Each episode follows different characters navigating the pressures and beauty of urban life. From Abraham, a struggling inventor trying to provide for his son, to Negisti, a young woman whose online persona suddenly turns her into a social media sensation, the series presents relatable and deeply human stories. Other episodes focus on relationships, artistic struggles, family tensions, and the emotional impact of changing traditions in contemporary Ethiopian society.
