Yoga and Serenity

As Old Souls, we may feel the heavy burdens of the world. We may carry all our responsibilities on our shoulders. The need to problem solve. The need to be in control. The need to feed our families during inflation, in a world that seems to be increasingly moving faster. Unwillingly, we may get sucked into the rat race.

As Empaths we may find ourselves more concerned about other’s well being then balancing our own inner struggles and turmoil.

To ensure our own wellbeing, we need to be still. We need solitude to listen to the voices within. We need to figure out what gives us pleasure and what causes us pain. We need to understand what excites us and who makes us feel drained.

A Serenity Prayer may help you to discover   your superpower, where the push harder, and when to act smarter, when to let go & when to take control. Listen deeply to filter your own truth from the chaotic turmoil.

Please Grant me the Serenity

To accept the things I cannot change

The courage to change the things I can

And the wisdom to know the difference.

We meditate to help us purify and  differentiate our own thoughts, needs and wants, away from the external pulls & distractions.

We meditate to identify our architypes and prioritize the steps we need to take to shine our light.

Yoga is a moving meditation. We move into postures and observe our breath. To be an empty vessel & receive divine inspiration instead. This practice and acceptance of the present, provides insights into our blockages, blind spots and what hold us back.

Yoga is a moving meditation through the darkness within. Shedding light on our own triggers and sensations, while we go through pain. This helps to break negative patterns and accept constant change.

Meditation over time, silences other people’s opinions and the need for external validation. As we connect to our authentic, higher selves, we can follow our internal compass and feel blessed regardless…

Moving away from circumstantial love, leaving judgements, which can be sooo harsh. Find your own frequency and lighter vibrations. Connect to your soul tribe, which is beyond status, bloodlines or nations… Stay close to the people that make you feel at home & light.

To maintain our sanity & return to serenity, we need to be at ease with ourselves… even a few deep breaths help. We need to be real instead of the picture perfect or fears we project. We need to love ourselves and ignore the negative narratives.

Positive affirmations on gratitude, love and forgiveness can lift a heavy weight off our chests…

See yourself as a being of light. The body is the temple and happiness is our birth right.

Beyond black & white, wrong & right. Channel your attention back inward and behold you are light, dark and with all the shades of grey you are enough!

Observe your self worth & serenity in unconditional divine love.
