Addis Animal Project, Helping Animals In Need

Many readers will already know about the wonderful exclusively volunteer run Addis Animal project; rescuing abandoning cats and dogs, fostering them and trying to place them in forever homes. The life of a stray dog or cat on the streets of Addis is not an easy one in an already city overcrowded with people.

Addis Animal Project (AAP) is a noble project that aims to get homeless dogs and cats off the streets of Addis Ababa be spayed/neutered and then adopted. The program also provides medical care to street dogs as needed or is feasible Volunteers can help in different ways from networking to knowledge transfer and we provide free training & supporting resources.

Fund Raising for Addis Animal Project is run by committed past and present members of the Addis Ababa community. The program is strictly voluntary. Addis Animal Project provides medical care services for dogs and cats by partnering with volunteer animal veterinarians and animal care specialists. 

The survival of AAP is based only on private small donations
